NEWARK, TX – An outbreak of measles at a Texas church has a lot of people saying ‘holy smokes!’

At least 21 people are part of the growing outbreak linked to Eagle Mountain International Church, northwest of Fort Worth. The extremely contagious respiratory disease is characterized by a red rash.

There’s been some talk that Kenneth Copeland Ministry leadership, which is affiliated with Eagle Mountain, previously discouraged parents from giving their kids a measles shot, because of the alleged link with autism. But at least at this point, that does not appear to be the case. The church’s website says they’re offering free vaccination clinics.

All in a day’s work to make sure everyone’s saved!
