HOUSTON, TX – Houston isn’t just awesome. It’s beyond awesome.

That’s because we think beyond Earth.

Space City is living up to its name, putting into motion the possibility of putting civilians into space (or at least the edge of space).

The Houston Airport System proposed transforming Ellington Airport into a commercial licensed spaceport.

Now we get to see what it would look like.

The Houston Airport System released 3D images of the spaceport.

From there, international trips would take just a few hours.

The only downside is the trips would take more than just a few hundred dollars.

Flights would cost $200,000 a person. It’s an out of this world price for an out of this world experience.

But hey, if you can’t afford it, at least you have one more reason Houston is just better.
