planeSUPERIOR, WI – Jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet is supposed to be a thrilling adventure. But the experience became less fun and more necessary for some skydivers over the weekend.

In Wisconsin on Saturday, two planes — full of folks ready to take the plunge — collided midair.

Miraculously, all nine people on-board the aircraft’s survived.

“Everybody got out safely. The pilot got out safely, used his emergency parachute, and landed. In the trail plane, all five jumpers got out of the plane safely,” said skydiving instructor Mike Robinson.

The exact cause of the accident is under investigation.
