ROSENBERG, TX – Hey, drivers! The law is the law, not just a suggestion. If you’re about to hit the road, remember: the left lane is meant to be used for passing other cars, not just to go fast and furious or, worse, so slow that you might block the entire highway. If you don’t adjust your habits quickly, someone else will do it for you.

“What we’re doing is we’re ensuring that that left lane is moving and functioning properly,” said Trooper Stephen Woodard.

Uh, Oh! The troopers are coming.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is once again trying to make sure we drive like someone who actually deserves to have a driver’s license. They’re cracking down on people who don’t know how to drive.

“If an individual is traveling slow in that left lane that could do several things. That can cause an impede of traffic, that can cause a traffic accident, or in some cases road rage.”

So repeat after me folks: not too slow, not too fast. That’s the left wing philosophy we’re all going to have to live with.
