CYPRESS, TX – Two people are under arrest after a mass shooting at a so-called “birthday party gone wild” on Saturday night in Cypress. Two teenagers were killed and 19 others got hurt in the violence.

Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies say 21-year-old Willie Young is charged with deadly assault and 18-year-old Randy Stewart faces aggravated assault.

The shooting happened at a home in northwest Harris County. 17-year-old Queric Richardson and 16-year-old Arielle Shepherd, students at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, were killed in the gunfire.

Family members of the 18-year-old birthday girl say the party was chaperoned, but it got out of control after getting out on social media.
