AUSTIN, TX – 107-year-old Richard Overton is believed to be the oldest living World War II veteran.

Originally from Austin, Overton has seen a lot in his lifetime, but today will be a first. Overton is traveling to Washington D.C. to celebrate Veterans Day with the President. In addition to having breakfast with President Obama, they’ll attend the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

Overton is quite the character. He credits is long life to smoking 12 cigars a day, and having a little whiskey with his morning coffee.

After all he has to be in tip top shape to keep up with his younger 90-year-old girlfriend.
