CHICAGO, IL – Michael Jordan used to be larger than life on the court. Off the court was no different. He lived in a huge mansion in Illinois.

The home is a modest 56,000 square feet. Jordan designed it himself and lived there for 19 years. But now that he`s spending more time in Charlotte, he`s looking to get rid of the house in an auction since the house has sat on the market for so long.

It’s got everything you can imagine: nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, five fireplaces, a wine cellar, a home theater, a pool and more.

Oh, and a basketball court, too.

So if you want to shoot some hoops where the greatest once shot them, get ready. The home is going up for auction with bidding set to open on November 2nd.
