HOUSTON, TX – Houston, you’re one step closer! The Feds are thinking about letting everyone use their phones on flights.

The FCC says its 21-year-old ban on cell phone calls while in flight is, “outdated and restrictive.” And, cell phones can be used on flights just fine as long as the plane is above 10-thousand feet.

The FCC is supposed to take up the matter at a meeting in December, and after that it’ll be up to individual airlines. Guess we’ll see what happens with this one.
