HOUSTON, TX – The winter weather impacted plenty of travel this weekend, but not flight 1225 from Houston to the North Pole!  United Airlines invited 68 children receiving treatment from local hospitals to pick up their boarding pass, grab a seat on a Boeing 777 and take flight following Rudolph to the great white north.

Volunteers transformed another terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport into a winter wonderland.  Meeting them at the gate was Santa, Rudolph, and even a few elves, J.J. Moses and Eric Brown from the Houston Texans.

North pole or not, United Airlines made sure these special kids have a first class holiday this season.
