CENTENNIAL, CO – Shots fired on campus — it’s chilling how many times we’ve heard those words on the news this year.

This time it happened at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, a campus with over 2,000 students.

Two students injured, and the shooter dead after turning the shotgun on himself.

The sheriff says the shooter was going to confront a teacher, walking into the school without even trying to hide the shotgun.

An all too familiar scene here in Colorado: Children running from a school after a shooting, students being patted down,  police swarming the area.

You can only imagine what the families and students are feeling tonight.

A tragedy, but one that could have ended a lot worse.
