HOUSTON, TX – It’s a classic tale of love and music.

Two lovebirds making sweet music fall in love after playing in the same band for the past three years, and with each of their former spouses now gone, after 43 years of friendship, they end up marrying each other.

Don Cassling, 88, popped the question to his band mate, Sally Holland, 78, three months ago, and the couple tied the knot on December 7th, just in time for their first Christmas together as a married couple.

At the Parkway Place retirement facility, the two are playing their first performance as husband and wife in their trio, “Strings and Things.”  It’s the perfect marriage between love and music.  Hopefully they’ll continue to make beautiful music together on and off the stage.
