WASHINGTON, D.C. – What if we told you Texas senator Ted Cruz is one of the world’s most influential people?

That’s right.

Not only does the junior senator from Texas have his own coloring book, but a new poll finds fellow Americans rate him as one of the world’s most influential persons.

The Rasmussen poll just released shows 11 percent of Americans surveyed put Cruz right up there with Pope Francis and President Obama.

The pope, Time’s Person Of The Year, topped the Rassmussen poll with 23 percent of respondents pick him over President Obama, who came in a close second with 21 percent.

NSA document thief Eddie Snowden showed up right behind Cruz with 8 percent of Americans calling “The Snowman” influential, but they didn’t say if it was in a good or bad sort of way.

Russia’s Vladimir Putin came in a distance fifth, with just 4 percent.

Also making the list was Miley Cyrus, at number 8 for reasons not explained, and we, honestly, we didn’t ask.
