HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is trying to nab a guy wanted in a string of robberies on the city’s north side.

Cops say since late November, more than 20 businesses have been hit, and they’re pretty sure the crimes have all been from the same guy.

“He’ll stroll into the business and go right to the register in most cases. He’ll pull out a weapon, demand the money from the clerk, sometimes cigarettes,” said Russell Smith, HPD Robbery Investigator.

There’s not much of a suspect description, but HPD has released a surveillance snapshot.

“We don’t have many leads. Most times he’s leaving on foot. In one robbery he was seen getting into a black, two-door Fiat,” said Gray.

If you know anything, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
