NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – All she wanted for Christmas was some nice cold beer. But when her Santa didn’t deliver the suds, she went nuts! 44-year-old Helen Ann Williams from North Charleston, South Carolina is charged with domestic abuse after allegedly beating and stabbing her common-law husband with a ceramic squirrel when he failed to bring home some brew on the night before Christmas.

Local cops claim Williams got a little squirrely after waiting for her husband, who had gone on a beer run. But when the hubby returned home empty handed, the thirsty woman hurled a decorative rodent at his head. And, to add insult to injury, the nutty woman allegedly stabbed the husband with the squirrel shards.

The victim was able to scurry over to a neighbor’s house to call 911. Officers found him with a large deep gash in his chest and cuts on his face. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Williams first told police that her husband just fell and hurt himself, but police didn’t buy her story. She was held in county jail on a $10,000 bond. The squirrel, on the other hand, is reportedly broken-up over the whole incident.
