NEW YORK, NY – You can call this version of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ – born to ‘pun.’

TV host Jimmy Fallon took the stage dressed as Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springsteen to sing a parody about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s ‘Bridgegate’ scandal.

“In the day we sweated out on the streets stuck in traffic on the GWB / they shut down the toll booths of glory cuz we didn’t endorse Christie.”

A couple lyrics later, Fallon hit the chorus.

“We’re stuck in Governor Chris Christie’s Fort Lee, New Jersey traffic jam.”

Then, lo and behold, the real boss, Springsteen himself, joined Fallon dressed in the same outfit. And, the two went at ‘Krispy Kreme’ together.

There’s no telling what governor Christie thinks of all of this, but it kind of makes you wonder, think he’s still Springsteen’s biggest fan?
