January is one of the busiest times for people quitting their jobs. New Year = New Career path. Are you thinking of quitting your job but don’t know how? Never fear there’s an app for that.

It’s called The Quit Your Job App. After filling out a questionnaire the app creates the perfect text message and sends it straight to your boss.

With Quit Your Job, after sending their resignation users can browse open positions on another app called, Job Search by TheLadders, which targets positions based on the user’s job profile and career goals.

Created by New York recruitment firm TheLadders, it is available for free for both Android and iOS handsets.

Quit Your Job was inspired by the Breakup Text app which lets users leave their significant others via text message.

Honestly I think these are both chicken sh*t and cowardly ways to end a working or romantic relationship.  All break-ups should be done face to face. This app is passive aggressive and allows people to distance themselves even further and not take responsibility.

Anyone who uses these apps is an “AppHole”.

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
