LONDON –  U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry made a stop in London for talks on the Ukraine crisis.

It was a five hour meeting with Russia’s Foreign Minister.

According to Kerry, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not expected to make a decision on Ukraine until after Sunday’s referendum in Crimea.

That’s when residents will vote on whether to secede from Ukraine and join Russia.

The U.S. says it doesn’t put much stock in the vote.

And even though U.S. has called the referendum illegal, Putin says it’s in line with international law.

But then again, has Putin ever cared about what we think?!
