PHILADELPHIA, PA – Flying can be a little tense. From trying to make it to the airport on time, shoving your over-sized bag in the overhead bin, to having to sit so close to complete strangers. For people on board a US Airways flight heading from Philadelphia to Florida, they’re tension turned into terror.
Flight 1702 blew a tire during take off, collapsing on the tarmac. It sat there, nose down. Luckily all 149 passengers and five crew members were able to get off the plane. A few requested medical attention, but nothing serious.
Another plane eventually took the passengers to the sunshine state.
