CYPRESS, TX – Some extracurricular activities in the classroom? A Cypress teacher is accused of using her Hopper Middle School classroom for just that.

Corrie Anne Long is facing charges of sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship with a student.

According to Harris County court documents, a student told school staff he saw Long and a 15-year-old eighth grader engaging in some suspicious behavior, including Long sitting on the student’s lap.

The court records say that eighth grader later admitted to authorities he and Long had engaged in oral sex in her classroom.

Cypress Fairbanks ISD released a statement saying, “The district took immediate action to remove the teacher once the allegations were made, and we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement in this matter.”

Long is currently out on $30,000 bond while she waits for her next day in court at the end of April.

Class dismissed — for now.
