BRIGHTON, ENGLAND- It took a royal decree, but finally same sex couples in the UK are getting ready to tie the knot for the first time– legally.

Love birds– andrew wale and neil allard– are going to be the first grooms in the first gay wedding in brighton, england.

Good for those blokes, eh?

The British Parliament approved the law back in July and Queen Elizabeth agreed it was time to say “cheerio” to dated policies.

Fifty-seven percent of the British public is in favor of same sex marriage.

And Allard and Wale aren’t letting the nay-sayers get them down.
