SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Thanks to what you might call an urban form of cow tipping, cops in San Francisco are looking for a group of vandals targeting Smart Cars.

So far four of the tiny vehicles have been found flipped over onto their front, back or side.

Fuel efficiency and the ability to squeeze into tight parking spaces make Smart Cars appealing, but it looks like their miniscule size makes them appealing to pranksters, too.

The cars weigh about 1600 pounds, making them pretty easy to knock over.

Police are on the lookout for a group seen flipping one of the cars while wearing black hooded sweatshirts.

This Smart Car prank doesn’t seem so smart when you’re facing felony vandalism charges.
