LANSING, IL – We’ve all been stuck in rush hour traffic at some point. But we bet you’ve never experienced a tie-up like this before.

A family of geese slowly waddled their way across the Illinois-Indiana border leaving traffic backed up for miles.

The police even had to shut the highway down in order to let the goose family cross the street.

Talk about a show stopper.

How the family of seven even ended up on the expressway is still a mystery.

But police escorted the geese and thankfully, they made it into Illinois unharmed.

Maybe next time they should try using the HOV lane.
