MANHATTAN, NY – The Beastie Boys are suing the maker of Monster energy drinks for illegally using their tunes in an online ad a few years back. Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz says his group would never license songs to endorse stuff, so they want more than $2 million in damages.

The other side only wants to fork over about a hundred grand.

It would definitely be fair to call this – a monster case.
