Sexting during surgery! A doctor in Seattle, has had his license suspended after he allegedly was caught sexting during surgery.

Meet the sexting anesthesiologist, 47-yr-old, Dr. Arthur Zilberstein. In over 20 pages of reports the Washington State Department of Health wrote that the Swedish Hospital doc allegedly sent dozens and dozens of sexually explicit text messages while in surgery. The report says Zilberstein would send as many as 45 sexts during a cesarean!

And that’s not all he’s accused of.

According to the report he had sex with a patient at the hospital, sexted her selfies in his scrubs exposing his “scalpel”, and he wrote at least 29 unauthorized prescrips for her and other people for Oxycodone.

As if you weren’t already sick to your stomach here are some of the alleged “sexts” sent minutes apart.

“I’m hella busy with C sections.”

“Oh. And my partner walked in as I was pulling up my scrubs. I’m pretty sure he caught me.”

Then they wrote he would look at her medical images to “get off”.

Zilberstein’s license to practice medicine has been suspended until the charges are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and request a hearing.

There are certain things you expect out of your docs during surgery. Competence, and to be on their A-game; not trying to use their game to get laid while you’re under the knife.

Do you know that anesthesiology is one of the highest paid professions in America? And here he is on the clock sexting?! What else is going on in these operating rooms? Kind of makes you want to have a witness or surveillance camera.

I hope, if he did in fact do these things, he’s permanently banned. Then he can sit at home, in just a lab coat, and sext away, and have someone “under” him in a different way.

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
