HOUSTON, TX – And then there were three.

Texans’ Head Coach Bill O’Brien said it was right for the Texans to go with three quarterbacks at this time. Which means we have to say goodbye to one, and that one is T.J. Yates.

The news of T.J. Yates’ release came shortly after the announcement that Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the Texan’s starting quarterback for the upcoming season.

Other quarterbacks on the team are just happy to still have a job.

Back-up quarterback Case Keenum said everyday is an opportunity to prove himself and prove his abilities as a quarterback.

Only one day of Texans’ mini-camp remains and then we will all be anxiously awaiting training camp in July.
