HOUSTON, TX – In an online statement, the retail giant said if you’re packing the heat — don’t come pushing a cart down their aisles — they want a “safe and inviting atmosphere for shoppers and employees.”
In recent weeks, questions have surfaced about Target’s policy on “open carry” firearms, especially after pictures popped up online showing a group inside a Target toting a sidearm in what’s supposed to be a family friendly store.
Oh and get this, someone left a loaded gun in the toy aisle of Target South Carolina; so yeah, you can imagine that got some folks fired up.
You may remember Chipolte was the first major company to ban guns; but Target is by far the largest.
Ah, the irony…. a place called Target is a no-go for guns.
