NORTH CAROLINA – Thanks to an uninvited guest named Arthur heading to the East Coast, many have cancelled their 4th of July beach parties.

Hurricane Arthur is expected to head north from South Carolina, but that’s not stopping people in Boston from partying. They’ve decided to move their 4th of July festivities a day earlier because fireworks can’t be set off if the weather is too windy.

Too bad for people in the Carolinas; some are already evacuating.

North Carolina governor, Pat McCrory warns, “We want them to stay out of the water. This is no time to put your stupid hat on.”
