HOUSTON, TX – Houston cops say Russell Neal drove to a downtown jail and bond office with a shocking confession.

Neal apparently told detectives the he and his wife had gotten into an argument in their west-side town home, and she was dead, then stopped cooperating or answer detectives’ questions.

When police and firefighters went to the Cedar Creek Town homes, they found Neal’s wife dead from apparent blunt force trauma. Neal told police the couple’s kids were staying with other family members.

Neighbors are shocked by the chain of events that unfolded here. No idea, yet, why Neal didn’t punch 911 instead of driving to 49 San Jacinto for alert of his wife’s death. Now, that’s the least of the unanswered questions.
