California swimmer survives great white shark attack

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – It’s scary enough to swim among sharks. Almost getting eaten by one? That’s what happened to Steven Robles while swim-training at Manhattan Beach in California.

After a fisherman tried to reel in the 7-foot shark for about 40 minutes, the shark finally decided to fight back and bit the swimmer.

Luckily, Robles was able to fight off the shark and is home recovering from bites on his chest and hand.

Looks like death lost its grip on this one.
