HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Dynamo host Toronto FC on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium in a match presented by the Halliburton Charitable Foundation. Tickets are available  by calling 713-276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass Stadium box office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from noon through kickoff.

Saturday’s game is the second between Houston and Toronto in eight days. The clubs met last Saturday and Brad Davis scored twice in the first 30 minutes for a 2-0 Dynamo advantage. But TFC scored four unanswered goals, the last two by Jermain Defoe, for a 4-2 home win.

Davis has now registered a goal or an assist in eighth consecutive Dynamo appearances, the longest streak in his career. Davis is tied for the eighth-longest streak of consecutive games with a goal or assist in MLS history. The stretch began on March 29 and includes four goals and five assists during the eight games. Davis is three games from matching the league record, 11 games, set by Roy Lassiter and Ronald Cerritos.

The Dynamo are 5-11-3 (18 points) and in ninth place in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto FC 7-5-4 (25 points) is in third place in the East after playing to a 1-1 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Wednesday.

Dynamo defender Jermaine Taylor is suspended for the game due to yellow-card accumulation.

Toronto FC features English international forward Jermain Defoe and U.S. national team midfielder Michael Bradley after the pair signed with the club last winter. Defoe has 11 goals in 13 games this season and spent over a decade in the English Premier League with Tottenham, Portsmouth and West Ham. Bradley, 26, started all four games for the U.S. at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and has made 90 career appearances for the U.S.

TFC also features Dwayne De Rosario, who won MLS Cups with the Dynamo in 2006 and 2007 and is sixth on the MLS all-time scoring list with 103 goals.

Following Saturday’s game, the Dynamo host Aston Villa of the Barclays Premier League in the BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup on July 26.
