Jail in Colorado may be weed factory

BRUSH, CO – One man in Colorado could make a lot of green if things grow in his favor. Nick Erker bought a jail in the small town of Brush, which could be turned into a mass weed production factory.

At first, Nick had no intentions of turning “the big house” into a ‘green house.’

Nick owns a grain and trading company that sells farm products — and since march, he had been holding onto the abandoned jail, eventually using it to expand the business. With pot now being legal in Colorado, Nick got the idea to use it to grow pot—all 22 and a half acres of it.

If Nick gets approval from the city council, he’ll be living up to the small town’s motto — ‘homegrown happiness.’
