Native American tribe cancels Ted Nugent concert

WORLEY, IDAHO – It’s impossible to put a filter on rocker-turned-activist Ted Nugent.

Though the folks in Worley, Idaho, are working on it.

A Native American tribe, the Coeur D’Alene tribe, canceled the rocker’s concert because of his “racist and hate-filled remarks.”

Surprised?  We’re talking about the same guy who called President Obama a “subhuman mongrel”

Yeah, that guy.

Nugent later apologized for those ugly words, but it’s pretty hard to forget.

The tribe posted a message on their Facebook page saying that when they “booked him, they were looking at him from an entertainment perspective..”

Then — the history of his racists and hate-filled remarks was brought to their attention.

Wonder how the tribe didn’t figure this out before.

Guess it’s true what they say — words can really come back to bite you.
