Houston earns high spot on Forbes’ Coolest City list

HOUSTON- Houston is hot when it comes to cool.

Forbes has ranked the Bayou City as the fourth “Coolest city in America.”

A lot of cities are “cool” but to ride with the “really cool cities in the Top 5” you’ve got to have Millennials and we do.  Nearly one-third of Houstonians are 20 to 34 years old.

You also have to hit a home run when it comes to entertainment, recreation, diversity, arts and culture not to mention good local restaurants. Yep, we’ve got it all.

The only cities that “iced” H-Town are: Washington, D.C., Seattle and Austin.  San Francisco rounded out the “frosty five.”

San Diego, Denver, Riverside California, Boston and our ugly step-sister Dallas, rounded out the Top 10 coolest cities in America.

The Big Apple and the City of Angels were “iced out” of the Top 10 because fewer people are relocating there.  Looks like having jobs and a good economy only makes our hot, humid city “cooler.”
