LEAGUE CITY, TX — Six people are dead from a car crash overnight.

It all started with a high-speed police chase after a traffic violation on Sunday night, August 10. A Dodge Durango was reportedly on-the-run when it slammed into another SUV at FM 646 and Ohio Street in League City.

The impact was so severe, power lines came tearing down and both cars were mangled. The victims in the second SUV include 41-year old Rafael Guererro, his wife 38-year old Alejandra Guerrero and their 15-year old son, along with the mother’s brother, 25-year old Gilberto Ortega Jr.

Police say the suspects, also deceased, are 23-year old Juan Garcia Ahuezoteco, the driver of the Durango, and his passenger, Alejandro Molina.

Authorities say Ahuezoteco had an outstanding felony warrant for driving while intoxicated.
