LEXINGTON, KY - A Kentucky hotel was destroyed in an explosion Sunday, after a driver accidentally drove into a gas meter, authorities said.

The hotel staff raced through the halls knocking on doors to get guests out.

A witness describes the scene saying, "We're all sitting there, standing, hanging out... Then, all of a sudden, we just hear BOOM! Shakes. Everybody just goes different directions. Chaos. People were going like this."

Fortunately, everyone made it out safely and guests were moved to other hotels after their ghastly stay.
