HOUSTON, TX - Up in the air can be a pretty germy place, but you`d feel pretty safe if the guy next to you was a federal air marshal, right? Maybe not if he had just been randomly pricked by someone wielding a syringe while in Lagos Nigeria.

It happened and the air marshal still boarded United Flight 143 bound for Houston.

Once his flight landed Monday morning, CDC officials met him and put him in quarantine. No one knows what was in the syringe or who pricked him.

Now the FBI is on the case. They say the marshal didn`t exhibit any signs of illness during the flight and none of the testing indicated a danger to other passengers.
