CZECH REPUBLIC - It's a match made in heaven for fitness fanatics, the ability to drink wine and workout. That's right...you can keep your heart healthy and knock back your favorite glass of wine.
A study called Vino Veritas which means "Wine Truth" say's exercise and moderate amounts of wine can significantly reduce the chance of getting cardiovascular disease.
Researchers in Czech Republic got a group of people and had them drink wine and workout at least twice a week. A year later results found the same people's HDL cholesterol levels increased. That's the good healthy heart kind by the way.
Now, if you don't want wine after your workout, then how about a refreshing champagne Popsicle?
"Pops" contain half a glass of champagne. So strap on those running shoes and bottoms up.
