FORT WALTON BEACH, Fl. -- A Florida man had quite the problem. Richard Wild, 60, had lots of food, but nowhere to put it because his landlord hadn't installed a refrigerator in his apartment unit. Certainly something to take up with the leasing office, but Richard decided to take it up with police.

Fort Walton Beach Police say Richard called 911 not once, not twice, but eight times to report the problem. When cops told him there was nothing they could do about it, and that it wasn't an emergency, Richard said he knew that, but that his phone could only dial 911. So Richard said he was going to keep calling police until someone fixed the problem. Well police just added to his problems, showing up to his place and arrested him.

Richard was charged with misusing 911, and that's how he became our Dumbass of the Day!
