SELBYVILLE, Delaware - Ashely Tull, a mom in Delaware, was arrested after her 4-year-old daughter brought 249 bags of heroin to daycare and passed them out to other kids.

Cops say the little girl thought it was candy.

Workers saw kids with the small bags of white powder, so they brought 'em to the police station and that's when they found out it was heroin -- 3.735 grams of it.

So how did the kid end up with the drugs in the first place?

Investigators say the mom gave her the heroin-filled backpack after the family pet messed up her old one.

Good news is: all of the kids are OK.

As for the mom, she was released on a $6,000 bail, and is charged with maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child.

And she can't go anywhere near the 4-year-old or her other two kids.
