HOUSTON, Tx. --  October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all the Hooters franchises in Houston are doing what they can to help. Monday night, Newsfix cameras visited the Kirby at 59 location for the kickoff of Pink Week! Each night this week Hooters restaurants will be offering prizes, raffles, games, and pink beer. It’s all in the hopes of raising money to donate to breast cancer research. The cause is important to the Hooters family. They lost one of their own when a Hooter’s manager Kelly Jo Dowd lost her battle with breast cancer back in 2007. So stop by a Hooter’s this week and enjoy some wings for a cause!
