TORRANCE, California -- Traveling abroad is a great way to learn a new language and apparently that goes for birds, too.

A parrot that disappeared four years ago is finally back home with his owner in California, but he's got a whole new talk.

Nigel, an African grey parrot, used to speak with a British accent, but now, he's chirping in Spanish and calling out for some guy named "Larry."

A dog-groomer found Nigel singing, talking, and barking like a dog outside her door.

She knew he belonged to somebody, so she started searching.

The woman was able to link Nigel to his owner by using the microchip implanted in his leg.

Still no word on where he flew off to, though.
