PASADENA, Tx. - A teacher learns a big lesson after being accused of sending a nude photo of herself to a student.

Ashley Zehnder was a biology teacher and assistant cheerleading coach at Pasadena High School.

"I found out because some friends were talking about it, and they heard about it.  It was just a rumor at first," one female student claims.

After school administration heard rumors of the photo being circulated on student cell phones around the campus, Pasadena ISD began looking into it and placed the Zehnder on administrative leave.

According to court documents, Zehnder admitted to having sex with a male student.

Cases of teachers having improper relationships with students seems more frequent lately, and to some, the shock factor is gone.

"I was shocked, yeah, at first; but after-while it's like, something else like this again, okay, I guess," another student adds.

Zehnder is charged with having an improper relationship with a student, which is a second degree felony; and her bond is set at $10,000.

Pasadena ISD says the charges are very serious and such behavior will not be tolerated; and some students agree with the district.

A student says, "I think that's inappropriate.  We're here to learn, not to have those kinds of relationships."

With all the news roaming the hallways, Zehnder resigned on October 9th.  No word yet if she'll do be doing any hard time in the slammer.
