Ferguson, Mo. - No decision was made Friday by the grand jury deliberating whether or not Officer Darren Wilson will face charges in the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown. The grand jury will reconvene no earlier than Monday morning.

Local Ferguson churches have set up “safe spaces” for people to gather and watch the televised decision, once authorities announce when it will be made public. These watch locations are meant to be a refuge for those wanting to view the decision in a safe environment, and avoid any possible hostility from protesters in the streets of Ferguson.

Small business owners in the area have boarded up windows after the protests that occurred shortly after the August shooting led to looting and property damage.

President Obama has urged protesters to remain peaceful, and said using the Ferguson events to incite violence is “not who we are” as Americans.
