DALLAS, Texas - Amber Vinson, the nurse who contracted Ebola while treating a patient in Dallas, is getting a new engagement ring for free.

After she came down with the disease, contamination crews removed several belongings from her apartment to be incinerated. One of those items was her engagement ring.

Vinson says, "I was kind of speechless. I had no understanding of why some things were there and some things were taken."

Now the manager of a Zales jewelry store in Dallas is offering her a new engagement ring for free.

It just goes to show that true love can survive anything, even Ebola.
