NEW YORK, New York - How much courage does it take to buy a lion costume?

Well, more than $3 million worth if it's "The Cowardly Lion" costume from the classic 1939 film, "The Wizard of Oz."

A bidder coughed up the lion's share of his wallet for the classic movie memorabilia costume at an auction house in New York City.
