Shooting in Northwest Houston sends two people to the hospital

HOUSTON, TX - Late Friday night, a domestic disturbance in the northwest part of Houston sent two men to the hospital.

Police say around 11:40 p.m. at the Miami Gardens Apartments complex, a husband and wife were fighting and arguing.  Their 18-year-old son stepped in to try and protect his mother.

His dad left the apartment, but he came back half an hour later with a gun and started shooting. The father shot the son three times.  One of the bullets went through the wall of the apartment, and hit their 28-year-old neighbor who as asleep.

Both the son and the neighbor were taken to get medical treatment and are expected to survive.

The father fled the scene on foot.
