HOUSTON, Texas -- Chants of protest could be heard outside Houston City Hall on Tuesday. Center stage was community activist Deric Muhammad who's been leading groups of protestors all over the city.

Muhammad's been calling the Houston area "Ferguson, Texas" after a Harris County grand jury no-billed Officer Juventino Castro for killing unarmed, Jordan Baker.

Muhammad says, "Over the past ten years... there have been zero indictments for those killings.I challenge each city council member to try to find a place in the United States of America where conditions are worse. And if you can't find a place in the United States, can someone please tell me why this isn't higher on your priority list?!"

Muhammad says his grand plan after this grand jury upset is to continue to push for more peaceful protests all over town.
