KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Michigan - Interstate 94 in Michigan near Battle Creek became a scene for a fireworks show, but it wasn't a celebration.

An 18-wheeler became a mobile launchpad for the fireworks it was transporting when it crashed and burned, causing a 150-car pile up.

The interstate was shut down for 12 hours and left at least one person dead and ten others injured.

Talk about adding fuel to the fire, another truck carrying hazardous material caused an evacuation within a three-mile radius.

Michigan State Police says its unclear of what caused the crash; but 16-degree weather, falling snow, and high winds always sounds like a recipe for a highway meltdown.
