OKLAHOMA -- Most football fans decide early on who their favorite team will be, but a 12-year-old boy from Oklahoma just couldn't decide on a team, so he decided to seek out some expert advice.

Cade Pope wrote a letter to every NFL team owner asking them why he should be a fan of the franchise.

Only one responded, Jerry Richardson of the Carolina Panthers.

Richardson said he would be honored to have the Panthers become Cade's team, and sent him a helmet signed by linebacker Luke Kuechly to help persuade him.

Even Texans fans have to agree that was a class act.
