HOUSTON -- They are painting a picture for the future of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

Today, expansion plans were unveiled. By 2019, the 14-acre campus will be a cultural haven with beautiful sculpture gardens, a fancy restaurant, an art school and a 164,000 square-foot gallery.

Houston Mayor Annise Parker says, "It provides us with an opportunity to invite Houstonians into this museum in a way that perhaps we haven't in the past."

The renovations are expected to cost $450 million. So far, $330 million has already been privately raised.
